TSF, in partnership with PAMOJA, strengthens the capacity of healthcare providers in Ogun State, Nigeria, on the implementation of the safe termination of pregnancy (STOP) guideline provision and safe self-managed abortion
Through shared learning, reflection, and skill-building, participants strengthened their capacity to deliver empathetic, rights-based, and judgment-free care.
Every step counts toward ensuring that reproductive decisions are met with care, not stigma.

TSF, in collaboration with PAMOJA, conducted a staff training on psychological skills and counselling techniques to enhance empathetic, client-centered care. The interactive sessions covered empathy, confidentiality, active listening, and recognizing emotional distress. Through discussions, case studies, and role plays, participants practiced effective communication and counselling approaches. The training also emphasized self-care and stress management. By the end, staff showed improved confidence in handling sensitive conversations, providing support, and making appropriate referrals—significantly enhancing service quality.
